Business activities
The company manages all its business activities while respecting the environment since the very earliest stages of the production process, such as the pulping. During this process in the waste paper is regenerated, keeping Cartiera di Ferrara in the front line for its recycling role.
Structure
The paper mill has been recently enlarged by installing a 1 MW photovoltaic plant for producing electricity. As a result, the environmental impact of the manufacturing process has been further reduced.
The efforts
Cartiera di Ferrara efforts in this directions made the company achieve the FSC Certification, as a guarantee for the origin of the raw materials of the board and UNI EN ISO 14001 Environmental Certification. The company is also obtaining UNI CEI EN ISO 50001 Energetic Certification.
